Welcome To Think Movement
How do you improve movement and function in children with special needs so that they can have a fuller life? Answers are there when the limitations of the child are mild or even moderate. However, when you take into considerations a scenario with severe brain damage… the solutions quickly diminish. This was the experience for Avani Zaidi, a Physical Therapist working with special needs children. It wasn’t until she discovered ABM – NeuroMovement that she was able to focus on the role of the brain.
Every movement, thought and action is controlled by our brain. When attention is brought to what we are doing the possibilities for learning are endless. Through ABM-NeuroMovement, you can experience the innate ability of the brain to form new connections and learn. Specifically, how organizing movement brings about transformative changes in children that this method is known for.

What is a Lesson
During a lesson, the practitioner (teacher) creates the conditions and provides movement necessary for the child’s brain to get the information it needs to start forming new connections. A lesson is an opportunity of the student(client) to enrich the mapping of the different parts of their bodies and form dynamic relationships so their movement can become a whole body movement as a result, easier, lighter, pain free and pleasurable.
